What is a Wedding Day Coordinator?
The wedding day coordinator service that we provide includes multiple tasks throughout the wedding week and weekend to help create the most stress-free event for everyone involved. We work behind the scenes acting as “CEO of the event or wedding” coordinating the wedding party, guests and hired professionals. We do our best to keep the events of the weekend flowing and the timeline running as smooth as possible. We handle all of the bumps in the road that are bound to pop up with so many moving parts.

Our professional timelines are built through the process of working with our clients and their vendors over the course of the planning process. Communication with all of your hired vendors during the 2 weeks leading up to the wedding is imperative. Every wedding is different and each client and venue present new challenges so our process is flexible to accommodate every situation. Some of the duties we perform include making all of the necessary arrangements for each vendor's delivery, set up, timeline and tear down. When we are your wedding day coordinator, our pre-wedding work will make sure communication and expectations of how the day will flow are clear so that we are all on the same page.
Full Service Includes...
Also included in our full service, is coordinating or co-coordinating the wedding ceremony rehearsal. This introduces us to the wedding party and family ahead of time so we can establish a presence for the team you have hired to help make all of the wedding day dreams a reality. We communicate and hand out copies of the timeline to everyone as well as go over the necessary information for the day(s) ahead. We are there to help with the line-up, the processional and the recessional. We usually leave the ceremony content up to the officiant but we are always happy to help with any suggestions or advice whenever needed. Our team will work closely with your ushers, host, and hostess and guide everyone into a receiving line or after ceremony get together.
The Day Of Schedule
Our recommended schedule for the ceremony day usually starts just prior to the “first look” of the bride and groom with the photographer to start assisting wherever needed and ends after the first dances begin when we leave the DJ or emcee to take over the night! If the client feels confident they won't need us until an hour prior to the ceremony, we can certainly begin our day at that time.
Another side service that we have developed over the past several years, to help those who are marrying in a non-church location and same location ceremony and reception, is our Ceremony Only Coordinating service. This limited service also provides pre-wedding “ceremony only” vendor communications to help the clients make it through the wedding rehearsal and ceremony. We typically arrive 1 hour prior to the ceremony and leave when the ceremony is over. Any extra work that may come up is billed at separately. Quite often our clients realize they may need more help than they expected.
